Will I still get paid if I have to self-isolate?

The government advises that people who are self-isolating should work from home wherever possible and if such is the case they should be paid as normal.

However, if this is not possible, then employers should ensure any self-isolating employee gets sick pay or is allowed to use paid leave days if they prefer.Employees in self-isolation are entitled to Statutory Sick Pay for every day they are in isolation, worth £95.85 per week, as long as they qualify.

This can, of course, be a significant financial drain. If you need advice about your current situation, please contact our employment team to arrange a free consultation.
